Let discuss about scenario.  

Scenario 1  - For a non technical user it is very sophisticated eCommerce solution provided by Opencart LTD. It is user friendly, easy to use, Quick to scale and many more. It has wast array of extensions both free and paid one can choose depending on their needs. Also sellers at marketplace a very supportive for their extension support, bug fixes, custom development etc. 

Scenario 2  - For technical users (developers, sellers) Opencart gives you freedom of code as like core PHP and Opps. You can modify the code whatever extent you want. All depends on your imagination and creativity how many solutions one can provide.
