# How easy was it for you to set up playlists and share updates in OptiSigns?

OptiSigns has been easy to use for us, from straightforward login to quick playlist setup. We use it to post company updates around the office, which helps solve communication challenges in a large business and keeps everyone aligned. If you use OptiSigns too, what has your experience been with keeping people informed across locations or teams?

I’ve found it really simple to add new information to our display screens, so updates don’t feel like a big task. It’s been helpful for spreading the word about the activities we have. My main drawback is that there aren’t free music and sounds built in, so I have to download a separate app to add those.

For us, the biggest win has been cutting down the effort to keep office monitors updated. We went from needing four different people involved to having one person manage everything, and it was simple enough to hand off to an intern, which freed up our marketing team for other projects. The only minor annoyance I still see is screen management, since some screens end up in subfolders and we have to move them back out.

Setup was smooth for me too, and it didn’t take much time to train other staff to manage playlists and updates. We mainly use it to broadcast current events to our constituents, which has helped close a communication gap. My only frustration is with the asset templates, since I often have to delete a lot of default content to fit our agency’s needs.

Playlist setup and sending assets has been really simple for me, and the whole workflow feels intuitive. The only hiccup I had was getting content onto my first screen before I had the player set up, but once I added the player it worked smoothly. It’s helped our in-house marketing look more professional and makes it much easier to keep guests informed about upcoming events.

I’ve liked the customization options, especially being able to manage content across multiple screens. It’s made it easier for leadership to share updates with lab staff, and communication has definitely improved. One issue I still run into is PPT uploads glitching, where the file comes into OptiSigns looking weird after upload.

For me, keeping content updated has been simple since everything is easy to access from the home screen and I can edit signage quickly without much hassle. I also like that it updates automatically, so I’m not constantly pushing changes. When we’ve hit hardware issues, their tech team has been great about responding with step by step guidance to resolve them.

I use OptiSigns mainly to display inter-office messages on TVs, and it’s been the most reliable option we’ve tried. Other approaches kept timing out and showing error messages multiple times a day, which looked worse than a blank screen for an IT company. I do wish the UI were a bit simpler, and that there were more page templates to choose from.

### Comment 8

For me, OptiSigns has been really intuitive, so I didn’t have much trouble getting started and using it day to day. The main downside is the website design feels a bit unaesthetic, but that’s just personal preference. Overall it’s helped solve my issue of not being able to advertise, since now I can actually promote my stuff.
