You create shortcuts or “codes” (usually abbreviations) to larger texts. For example, if I type .wem it will fill in my email. This can work to for report templates. A single abbreviation can give me five paragraphs of text. And you can put codes within codes, so I can change gender possessives or include a persons name once and it will fill it in in the appropriate spots.
