RESTAURANT OWNER HERE: Sling has become the core of our day-to-day employee management. We use it for all team and individual communication, announcements, personal 1-to-1 messages, scheduling, reporting, tracking PTO, etc.... it's been amazing. Super simple to administer, easy to use daily and weekly, and employee adoption is immediate. I would not launch another restaurant location without Sling. It's that important to our business.

Scheduling and communicating with various teams.  Main feature is building schedules to include various positions and/or locations; start and end times with linkage to pay systems.  Options for employees to accept or decline the shifts; schedule themselves out; and take other unassigned shifts.  
Aside from scheduling, SLING gives you a dedicated communications and task management channel to help keep work issues inside a single app.
