Security and compliance come up a lot given the type of data we're dealing with: client, program, donor, and operational info. NewOrg handles this through secure cloud-based data management, permission-based access, secure document storage and file sharing, electronic signatures, data ownership, and regular SQL backups.
Every edit is also auditable, which helps with accountability and makes internal review or compliance checks a lot easier to manage. On the regulatory side, NewOrg supports privacy and compliance needs including HIPAA, PIPEDA, and FOIP-related requirements. If an organization has specific compliance requirements, it's worth raising those during the evaluation and implementation process so they can be addressed directly.
