Imagine having a shared folder where you can track who does what to the files. You can share and track downloads as well as views as if you would be using Google Analytics thanks to the Insights module. You can also transform the media you share either to another size or another format, like a PNG with 4000 x 4000 pixels image to a JPG with 2000 x 2000 pixels.
And you can also decide who you want to see, add, edit, modify and delete items from the DAM.
