# How do you resolve issues with EDI files and set up concerns most efficiently?

We have experienced some significant issues this year and it took me over 8 months to get an EDI issue resolved. This added burden to my workload and was not ideal. Moving forward I would like to know how to more efficiently get to the heart of the issue so less time is involved in resolving problems

I communicated with both Paylocity and my insurance carriers and got them to speak with each other and they resolved it. I figured it would not be beneficial for me to be the middleman and putting the together was the best option.
