# How do you reduce manual work and fix configuration issues in VensureHR payroll and benefits?

We expected VensureHR to consolidate payroll, benefits, and timekeeping, but many routine tasks still require heavy manual intervention and extra audits and reconciliations. We have run into payroll configuration errors, retirement plan administration challenges, Puerto Rico tax withholding and PTO setup issues, plus integrations that do not work as expected. Admin control feels limited, and issue resolution and communication have been inconsistent, which has made us more dependent on vendor support. If you use VensureHR, what has helped you improve reliability, admin access, and turnaround time on fixes?
