# How do you prevent crashes in PPT

PPT tends to crash quite a bit. Any plans to fix this?

If it’s crashing it may need a update check to see if there are any pending

In my experience, PPT sometimes crashed when I was working with large high resolution graphics/pictures. So I would usually either wait until last to add those in or create very low resolution versions of the pic to put in the deck while I was creating it, then swap them out for the high res versions at the end.
