# How do you manage Vercel Preview deployments and env vars without slowing reviews?

Vercel makes it easy to deploy and operate a Next.js app, especially with GitHub Preview deployments per pull request and automated promotion to Production after merging. Being able to validate a specific commit and see the branch and SHA boosts release confidence, but Protected Previews can add friction for external testers, and env var changes often require redeploys. The dashboard is powerful, yet settings and logs are spread across sections, which can slow troubleshooting. How are you handling Preview access, env var separation, and dashboard navigation in your workflow?
