# How do you improve the graphics quality while also making sure not to make your design too long?

Is there a way to decide the appearance size for your content that you intend to share, while minimum compromise with the quality.

To improve graphics quality without making the design too big, always save your images in RGB color mode using JPG, PNG, or GIF formats, ensuring the file size stays under 1MB. When deciding on appearance size, the ideal pixel width depends on which builder you're using. For emails in the New Builder, aim for a width between 660px and 1320px, while the Legacy Builder works best with images between 600px and 1200px. You should find the specs and edit your design to those specs in the program (PS, AI, GIMP, ETC). If you do not have that capability, making your design smaller should increase the clarity by decreasing the pixelation. Using the proper file to start is the best way to ensure this is correctly done within the program and that means using an RGB formatted 150 DPI or better jpg, jpeg, or png. Hope this helps!
