# How do you handle tax calculations in SumUp when selling at markets?

We’re a small farm market selling artisan baked goods and handcrafted items, and SumUp (little square box one) helps us take our goods to local farm markets and stay active in the community. One challenge is tax: our unit takes tax out of the amount we type in instead of adding it to the customer’s total, so we still keep a calculator handy and it can slow checkout down. Have you run into this, and what’s your workaround for getting tax right while keeping lines moving?
