# How do you handle ShareGate updates and restarts when you lack server admin access?

I like that ShareGate supports multiple sources and destinations and preserves permissions, metadata, and version history during migrations. It has also helped with mass migrations from legacy SharePoint and generating reports needed for permissions matrices. The downside has been frequent updates and required restarts, which can be really inhibitive without admin access on the server. How are others managing updates and restarts while keeping migrations moving?
