# How do you handle Master password reset - when users forget their master password?

We have many users forgetting their master password, as there is no real enforcement to remind and enforce the users to re-enter their master password.

We had this happen and luckily, we figured out what is was. To prevent it from happening again, we made a "group" for each user and only put that user in the group. So if the user forgot their password, we could reset the master password for that user, they would still be in the group, so all the information would still be there.
