# How do you handle inaccurate reports in Chronicle Online without paying extra to fix them?

Our experience with Chronicle Online has been that the help desk is really knowledgeable and consistently offers assistance when needed. The main struggle has been that some reports are not accurate, and we would have to pay additional cost to have them corrected. On the plus side, they seem to be consistently working on evolving the system. Have others run into report accuracy issues, and what did you do to get reliable reporting?

Thank you for raising this. We wanted to clarify the distinction between correcting a standard report and creating a bespoke report.

If a standard Chronicle report is not working correctly, our support team will investigate it. Customers are not charged simply to correct a fault.

Chronicle also offers a custom reporting service for customers who need information presented, calculated or formatted in a way that is specific to their organisation. These reports are individually designed and tested and typically cost between £300 and £600, depending on the requirements.

Many workforce management systems do not offer this level of reporting flexibility, so we see it as an important strength of Chronicle rather than a requirement customers must use.

There was perhaps some confusion caused by older customer-specific reports being visible more widely within the system. This has now been rectified, and custom reports are managed more clearly.

We would be happy to review any specific report with the customer to establish whether it is a standard report, a configuration issue or a bespoke requirement.
