# How do you handle color separation when Meshy can’t split a 3D model by color?

Meshy feels easy to use and works well for generating clean, color 3D models. The one-click export to a color 3MF file is a big plus, but it’s frustrating that there’s no option to split the 3D model by color. If you’ve run into this, how are you working around it today, and what would you want Meshy to add to make color splitting easier?
