# How do you handle cases where TextExpander templates don’t fit every patient?

TextExpander has made my documentation much faster, and I like keeping everything in a reusable template format so notes stay succinct and important info isn’t missed. The downside is that sometimes one size does not fit all, so a template cannot be used. The speed boost has been a real benefit since time is money. How do you adapt your snippets or workflows when a template doesn’t match the situation?
