# How do you handle Brightwheel’s credit card service fees and refund policy?

Brightwheel’s app and website can seem user friendly at first, but the payment experience felt unclear due to a hidden 3% credit card fee and no refunds on service fees. The biggest frustration was how quickly those charges add up, plus poor customer service when trying to resolve it. For a tool that’s supposed to help educators manage communication with parents, this made the experience feel more stressful than helpful. Have you run into the same fee transparency or support issues, and how did you handle payments?

Brightwheel is terrible and a scam. They charge a hidden 3% credit card fee which is absurd and ends up being a lot of money on a large service charge. Completely insane $56 hidden extra credit card fee just to pay tuition!! It was not clear on the payment page that they do this and the customer service is horrible. They also refuse refunds on service fees. Worst company ever. What a SCAM company !!
