# How do you get past SOCi’s learning curve while managing multi-location marketing?

SOCi has been helpful for centralizing multi-location marketing in one place, especially for managing social media, online reviews, and business listings while keeping brand consistency. The main challenge is that it can feel overwhelming at first because there are so many tools and customization options, and reporting could be more flexible. For those using SOCi, what helped you onboard new users faster, and how are you handling reporting needs across locations?

I can definitely relate to this. With so many products available in SOCi, it can feel overwhelming at first, especially as a one person marketing team managing multiple communities.

The onboarding process was great, and the SOCi team has always been incredibly supportive. There is also SOCi University, which has been a great resource for learning the platform. ( I hope I used the right name :) ) I can definitely relate to this. For me, the biggest thing was getting organized. I started setting reminders, blocking time on my calendar, and making it a priority to regularly work through my SOCi dashboard. It's still a work in progress, but those small habits have made a huge difference.

I genuinely love the product. It has helped me centralize marketing across all of our locations and has saved me a tremendous amount of time while keeping everything consistent.

SOCi is a powerful platform, so it's normal for there to be a learning curve when you're getting started. We recommend focusing on the features most relevant to your role first and expanding from there.

SOCi University makes onboarding easy with role-based learning paths for both Admins (https://university.meetsoci.com/catalog?token=eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJxdWVyeSI6InJvbGU6XCJBZG1pblwiIiwibGFiZWwiOiJBZG1pbiJ9.QZCUijl_UVLax5mOrHzVZcxgccygMr8geUV74f14Q4E) and Local Users (https://university.meetsoci.com/catalog?token=eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJxdWVyeSI6InJvbGU6XCJMb2NhbCBVc2VyXCIiLCJsYWJlbCI6IkxvY2FsIFVzZXIifQ.cRGVKV9EnuPZLz3HU8vMVu2oaNzERJ4zUG9gUYpS8I0), plus bite-sized SOCi Shorts (https://university.meetsoci.com/pages/soci-shorts), live weekly training (https://university.meetsoci.com/pages/live-training), and a full library of courses (https://university.meetsoci.com/learn/dashboard).

The SOCi Central community (https://soci-central.meetsoci.com/) is always available for tips, best practices, and answers from our team and fellow customers.

I agree that SOCi can feel overwhelming when you're first getting started. There are so many features and it's hard to know where to focus, but it sounds like you're already off to a great start getting comfortable with using the essential tools to help manage social, listings and reviews.

One thing that's helped me a lot is taking advantage of SOCi's support team. They've been great about helping me build custom reports based on exactly what I wanted to track, and they even helped set up automated email reports so the right people get the information they need each week without me having to think about it.

For onboarding, SOCi University has a ton of helpful training resources. On top of that, I've created a library of Loom videos that walk through our specific workflows and processes. That way, new employees can learn exactly how we use SOCi, and I don't have to repeat the same training every time someone joins the team. Between SOCi University and a few company-specific tutorials, the learning curve becomes much more manageable. I hope this helps!
