# How do you best find the list of Subreddits that you are allowed to target to?

Since you can only target the top chunk of popular subreddits, the list changes. I want to find a live version of the list so I can update targeting accordingly.

Best practice is to focus on parent-level interest categories rather than laser focusing on specific subs.

Targeting is slightly different on reddit vs other ad platforms, and we're working on producing educational materials that help provide context around why / how. Stay tuned!
