# How do i use trello api if any to connect it to application that i am developing

I want to use my existing boards and cards and transfer their data as well as experiment development in order to extend Trello functionality. Api docs or any suggestions are welcomed.

Trello has a great REST Api. Here is the link to the docs https://developers.trello.com/reference#introduction
Follow the instructions to get your API Key and Token and include them in all of your requests as shown in the introduction section of the docs.
