# How do I set Patriot Payroll to automatically calculate vacation hours?

Right now, we calculate vacation time & enter it manually, but I am sure there is a way that Patriot Software can calculate & add vacation time automatically.  I want to learn how!

I don't know if the software can calculate it automatically.    There is some data entry you have to do.  It depend's on how you set it up.  You will need to go into software and setup each employee.  Live chat can better answer your questions, they are available Mon - Fri. during business hours.

Hi there! You manage time off in the software and also setup time off accruals in Patriot.  Please check out the help center and for more information on how to setup time off accruals.
