# How do I save my one note and open it on a new computer?

A great feature about OneNote is that it automatically saves your documents using its Cloud-based functionality. This eliminates the need to save your work and allows you to access your documents from a variety of sources (e.g. phone, tablet, laptop, etc.).

Hi Janette,

You don't have to ever "save" in OneNote, it saves AUTOMATICALLY! Which is one of it's best features to me.  and then you just open your account everywhere you are at. You can use your phone, your computer, they all sync up.

With a o365 account your notes are always well synchronized
