# How do I leverage better templates for Dashboards?

Would like various options on templates to make building out dashboards faster/simpler.  Currently time consuming to build sheets then reports then adding in widgets.  Would be great to see Jira data integrated here too.  We are using the Jira-SS API connector.

I would ask your Smartsheet customer success manager or representative about a resource portal.  Smartsheet can provide a portal with access to helpful best practice content and templates to ease the think and build time.

What we did for this in our implementation was create common dashboard templates for projects, PMO leadership, and Exec leadership.  We use Control Center to roll-up projects to our project managers.  When a project is rolled up, it automatically creates a dashboard for that project.  The Source files also populate which drives the information on the PMO and Exec dashboards.  It works pretty well.
