# How do I install the data tracker?

The data tracker is javascript code and is installed at the head of every page. The easiest way to do this is to drop it in as a tag in Google Tag Manager. If you’re using Segment, you can nestle the ProdPerfect data tracker into GTM and nestle that into Segment.
