# How do I go with office editors like Microsoft Office and Photoshop for work?

We are struggling with the applications that are subpar compared to the ones are provided by Microsoft and Ubuntu. Can we expect something like that with future version of ubuntu?

For everything you use on a WINDOWS machine, you can find an UBUNTU/LINUX alternative.
OPEN OFFICE for example can read/edit/write all OFFICE files and you also "SAVE AS" in DOC/DOCX XLS/XLSX, etc.
As for PHOTOSHOP, if you are willing to learn a new software, you can easily find a ton of alternatives.
