# How do I edit a job listing without opening the job?

When job listings are 'closed' on Indeed, there is no way to edit the listing before you post it again without making it open to the public, which is not very convienient.

You can continue to edit a job while it is 'paused' and when it is 'paused' billing on the posting is stopped. 

Although once you confirm your edits, I'm not sure if it takes it off pause, so you would want to check that right away.
