# How do I create categories for service labour as opposed to product inventory?

One way you could set this up in your chart of accounts. From the chart of accounts go to the top and click the plus button and add new account. Create an income category for service labor and when you create that it will be a field where you can enter in a subcategory. You may need to create the sub-category first but I believe it will created on the fly.
