# How do I create an organized subfolder structure?

I find that it is difficult to create subfolders in order to better organize various files & projects. Many projects need to be broken down into subcategories, especially in situations where there are multiple time periods involved.

it is very simple to create sub directories or sub folders.

if you are on a mobile device accessing google drive, once you are in a folder in the google drive, you should see a PLUS symbol at bottom right, which lets you create NEW sub folders and all sorts of others actions that you can perform at that step.
