# How do I convert color image for paper submission from RGB to CMYK without using Photoshop?

I tried installing a separate plugin for Gimp, but I failed. Then, I installed another application: Krita, but has some stability problems.

CMYK Separation Plugin for GIMP
and I believe you have to download Adobe ICC profiles to go with it.
