# How do I close multiple windows at the same time instead of just individually clicking the cross

I had 15 documents open and I had to close them all. When I close notepadd++ I can close all the windows but when I restart Notepad++, they all appear.

There is an icon(5th one)  for close all option,just below the Menu bar

Right click on the tab and you can close all but this, all to right, all to left, or all unchanged.
