# How do I conduct a dial session?

Using the dialer is easy. The first step is to select the leads you wish to call. This can be done by the agent, with the help of lead filtering and smart search, or automated by the admin on the account. With leads selected, simply click "Begin Dial Session." The agent will be prompted to make one phone call into the PhoneBurner bridge. Once connected, PhoneBurner starts the session and begins dialing your first contact. The system handles all of the time-consuming and repetitive tasks, so agents can focus on live conversations.
