# How did Vibe Retail change your daily inventory starting point and purchase planning?

After switching to Vibe Retail, our day-to-day work felt more peaceful because we start each day with an accurate inventory position and fewer stock discrepancy checks. Linking purchase orders, inventory updates, and sales made purchase planning more systematic and reduced manual spreadsheet work. The main challenge was the first couple of weeks learning where everything was, and I still wish some less-used options were faster to access. How was your onboarding, and what helped you find less common features quickly?

For me the biggest win was how complete the inventory tools felt right away, especially product variations, purchase orders, transfers, and stock alerts. The learning curve was mostly just getting used to how much inventory functionality there is, but after a few days it was smooth. Integrating with QuickBooks cut down a lot of manual entry and cleanup in our accounts, so we finally have tighter control without the bookkeeping hassle.

Onboarding was smoother than I expected since importing our existing inventory and customer records went without major issues, and checkout in-store stayed fast so we avoided downtime. The main learning curve for me was building our own employee permission structure and getting familiar with all the report filters, since there are a lot more controls than Square. Once we dialed in those settings, reporting became pretty hassle-free and reconciling was much easier.
