# How can we get the most of recruitee as a candidate database, meaning what tips you could give to search for resumes in Recruitee?

The reason I'm asking is because we mainly focus on external sourcing and the use of candidate talent pools, but we might miss out on search features or extra best practices.

You can create a boolean search from the "Candidates" landing page, just not the search bar at the top! you can them filter/ customize whether you are searching their resume and/ or notes on the profile.
