# How can the license verification process be re-worked so that users who do not have access to the internet for long stretches of time do not lose access to documents after 30 days?

I tried to access my mind maps on a recent flight but was very unhappy to find out -- in the air -- that mind manager needed to verify my license online -- which I couldn't do, becuase the flight did not have internet access. The issue with this is that if I would have known, I could have renewed the licnese a few days before the trip. I had never seen this before. The greater issue is that I often use my computers without internet for long periods of time so that i can focus on what matters most. By requiring the internet for license verification, this made the app useless for the whole flight and I couldn't work on what I needed to.

We are planning an improvement in this area so that users can see how long they can remain offline. In an upcoming version of MindManager, the number of days a user can remain disconnected from the internet will be displayed in the UI.
