# How can multi-vector DDoS attacks be effectively handled?

Multi-vector attacks require coordinated mitigation across different layers of the network. In addition, Arbor Sightline can orchestrate Flowspec mitigation using network routers. This allows organizations to address each attack vector appropriately without leaving gaps in protection.
