# How can I use Hootsuite in Instagram?

Instagram scheduling.

I have Instagram set up so that when I send out posts for our other two accounts (Twitter and Facebook), I include Instagram and then get an alert on my phone to update IG.  As IG is not link-friendly, I do have to go back in and change the link provided in the post (you can copy and paste the text of your post in the caption section).

You are able to publish to you Instagram account(s) using Hootsuite. This includes scheduling to post at a later time. However, you can only publish one picture. You cannot publish multiple photos or to Instagram Stories at this time.

You cannot control Hootsuite inside of Instagram, but if you go to your Hootsuite dashboard, you can add Instagram as a social media account. This article explains how to do that:
