# How can I resize documents in a controlled way i.e. for file size?

Say I wanted the PDF to downsample so it's just under the Google attachment limit of 25mb. How can this be done?

1.) When you are done with the PDF, then...
File Save As Other, Reduced Size PDF - Adobe Reader X will reduce it but will soften the images and remove digital signatures. 
2.) Optimize the pdf. File Save as Other, Optimized then you can change the compression quality.
