# How can I put a color ban behind one part of an email.

Working on an email for a client and they want part to be white and the other part to be orange. Not sure besides and image how to have a color place in only part of the email. The goal would be to have text over the orange section.

In the new email builder, you can change the background colors for each section of the email (header, body, and footer) as well as the background color for content blocks. In the campaign builder, to the right of your campaign, there are three tabs, go to Design, find the section where you want the colour to appear, click on it & edit the background colour. Click save at the bottom of the screen.

You may just want to create a graphic for the background of your email with a color band.
