# how can I improve on synchronisation with Salesforce

I encounter that not every mail is directly attached to Salesforce - trying to figure out what I have to do different.

I&#39;d also check for duplicate records.  Many times the name is in there more than once and the contact record without the correct email address will present instead of the one you want.

To have an email being sent or received via gmail show up in SF as part of the record you need to click the &quot;Add to Salesforce&quot; link on the Cirrus bar. If Salesforce recognizes the contact it will show up in the confirmation window if it doesn&#39;t you have to type in the contact in the search window, then search and click on the search result that is correct.

Hi Andrea, lately there seems to be an overall problem with synchronizing with information with Cirrus.  I have gmail and while all of my emails are synching up, my entire system has slowed down and my IT department is looking into, but has not gotten back to me.  At this point, I was told to log out completely out of Cirrus.  Sorry I don&#39;t have more to share.  Thinking there  is a compatibility software issue has occurred that I have no expertise in.
