# How can I grant only specific access to a group of members and the others can only see but cannot make any changes to the database

How can I grant only specific access to a group of members and the others can only see but cannot make any changes to the database. Sometimes I need only specific people to make changes to the data and the other set of people to only view and not make any changes to the data. How can this be achieved

There are several ways to do this...but basically you can provide read/write or read-only access at the account level, at the "base" level, and at the table level...the higher level overrides lower levels meaning if someone has edit access at the account level, they'll have edit access at all levels. However, you could provide read access at the account level (or no access at all), and then provide access at the table or base levels.
