# How can I get the detailed industry category for any given company?

I have see the profiles seldom contains the right catergorization for their respective industry, is there anything I am missing out here?

Thank you for your question about D&B Hoovers. On any company profile, we list the associated industry directly under the bolded company name. It is located to the right of the company’s address and below the D-U-N-S* Number and LEI Number. Further down the profile page in the Company Summary there is a section designated to industry information. This is where you can find two additional, universal industry categorizations: US 8-Digit SIC, and US SIC 1987.
