To get really good at Excel quickly, focus on learning the most impactful features first and practice them on real-world data. Start with essential formulas like IF, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and basic text and date functions, followed by pivot tables, charts, and conditional formatting for analysis and visualization. Learn common keyboard shortcuts to work faster and use tools like data validation, filters, and Power Query for cleaning and organizing data. Most importantly, apply everything directly to practical tasks such as managing test cases, tracking defects, or analyzing research datasets—consistent hands-on practice is the fastest way to build strong Excel skills.

Use it daily and play with your sheets. Also there are courses that cost money.
