# How can I get backup of my chats?

I want backup of my chats, so please let me know if there is any way to get it

Hi Nilesh - you can backup your Slack messages using a standard export as long as you are the Workspace Owner/Admins.  1) Click your workspace name at the top left. 2) Select Administration 3) Select Workspace settings. 4) Choose Import/Export Data in the top right. 5) Select the Export tab. 6) Click Start Export.
