# How can I ensure Box will sync with Finder? (Mac)

I find myself constantly needing to unmount or disconnect Box from my Finder application and restarting my Mac to keep Box connected and syncing my files. It will show all my files in my shared Box drive, but when I right-click to try and copy a shared link or make any adjustments it shows that it isn't connected. I'm wondering what may be causing this issue and if there's a solution you may recommend to help?

When connecting an iPhone or iPad to your Mac using a USB or USB-C cable, the device appears in the Finder sidebar. When you select your device in the sidebar, the Finder window displays options for managing your device software and syncing items with your Mac.
