# How can I delete installed updates?

Please guide me how to disable updates permanently and uninstall updates that are downloaded automatically to my laptop.

Hey Khawar, good question! I've checked around to see what I could find for rolling back Windows 10 updates that have messed with my home PC functions; this article (https://www.windowscentral.com/how-uninstall-and-reinstall-updates-windows-10#uninstall_update_windows10 ) outlines the steps to roll back really well. In terms of turning off automatic updates altogether, Microsoft made that more difficult to do in Windows 10. HowToGeek's explanation for how to turn them off (https://www.howtogeek.com/224471/how-to-prevent-windows-10-from-automatically-downloading-updates ) is very thorough and should help turn those updates off altogether.
