# How can I add chapters to the videos?

In some of the opinions, I saw that chapters could be added to the videos. I would like you to tell me how I can do that?

Navigate to your video that you'd like to add chapters for
Click on "Player"
Click on "Set Up Chapters"
Click on "Add Chapter"

In the player on the video, the chapters will appear expandable in the control bar at the bottom.

In left customization panel for any video go to >video then click chapter setup

The chapter marks need to be embedded inside the video you are uploading.
You need to use a video encoder that allows you to insert chapter marks.
Note: Not all encoders include this feature, you need to test. It is a "professional" feature used to mark, for example, scenes in a bluray.
I do not use the feature because I upload short videos, but certainly the chapters must be already marked in the video you are uploading.

1. Go to your dashboard https://api.vadoo.tv/cms_dashboard
2. Click on a project.
3. Click on a video of your choice to add the chapter markers to.
4. Click on customization on the left. 
5. Here you see "add chapters".

After you upload a video, you can go to Video -> Customization -> Setup Chapters and add multiple chapters and enable chapter markers and chapter navigation
