# How can I add a client to a package, if the client has paid me through an outside source such as venmo or cash?

I have my package settings to pay, then book, is there a way to keep this setting and add a client to my package even when they aren't paying through the Paperbell portal?

Hi Angie! Yes, absolutely we actually have a few different ways to do this. 

You can either gift the package to them, create a special coupon code so that they can access the product for free, or create a clone of the original package and make it free and invite-only.

You can 'clone' the package with a click in Paperbell and call it 
"Package x with cash" or "Package x with Venmo".
Voila! I've done this with Paypal when the client wanted to finance through paypal credit. Hope this helps!

Did you try going into the client tab and gifting the package to the client?  It's not technically true, but you received the money upfront.
