I’m still a beginner with TextExpander, but the ease of use and how user friendly it is made it simple to start building snippets right away. The customization has been the biggest help for me, especially for documentation in a fast paced clinical environment. It’s noticeably cut down the time I spend writing the same things over and over.

I’ve been using TextExpander for both company-wide snippets and my own personal ones, and it’s been really easy to navigate. The biggest win for me has been building snippets specifically to speed up filling out referral forms, which saves me a ton of time. One small annoyance is the predictive text bubble sometimes gets in the way and blocks what I’m typing but that minor inconvenience is worth all the time and energy I save using Text Expander.

### Comment 3

For me it’s been huge for sending training and diet plans as a coach. I keep a single stock response as a snippet and just fill in editable fields like the client’s name and any needed links, instead of copying and pasting the same intro and explanations every time. The customization is great, but I do wish the formatting was stronger for bullet points and sub-categories.

I lean on TextExpander when I need a full script fast, since a few clicks can generate what I need in seconds. The biggest pain point is forgetting to update it and then having to rebuild things from scratch, which really highlights how much time it normally saves me. It’s also helped me keep info more uniform, which makes my day-to-day time management a lot easier.

I’ve been using TextExpander mainly to keep client messaging consistent, so I’m not rewriting the same responses and introducing little typos. It’s been a real time saver for me, and I like that it works across most platforms I’m in day to day. So far I haven’t run into any downsides.

I mostly use TextExpander when I’m adding notes to tasks. Having predetermined info ready to drop in makes filling things out way faster and just easier overall. The only downside for me is that building my own snippets can feel kind of complicated at first.

I use TextExpander daily for text shortcuts across a few different roles, like tech support, admin work, and running my small business. It’s been a big time saver for me since I’m not a great typist, and it helps me get through repetitive responses faster. I also appreciate that it’s easy and intuitive, so I can just set it up and keep moving. Cutting down on screen time has been a nice bonus.

### Comment 8

I rely on TextExpander for patient encounter documentation, where having consistent clinical note templates really cuts down on repetitive typing and helps reduce errors. The main challenge for me is that setting up and organizing snippets can take time, and keeping them updated takes ongoing effort. I also wish there was smoother integration across more applications and more flexibility when customizing templates.

### Comment 9

For me, the biggest win is how much time it saves so I can focus more on the actual content instead of rewriting. One small annoyance is that abbreviations can be sensitive to Caps Lock, so I have to watch my typing there. I also like that it helps with grammar checks, especially catching apostrophes.

### Comment 10

I use TextExpander a lot for forms and checklists, and it really speeds up getting those completed without retyping the same fields. The big win for my team is that multiple people can contribute and maintain shared shortcuts, so everything stays consistent and easy to manage. It’s also been easy to learn and works across my apps on both Apple and Microsoft. The only hiccup I see is it occasionally hangs and needs a restart.

I have been using TextExpander mainly to create and rely on shortcuts, and it has worked smoothly for me without errors. I have not run into anything I dislike so far. I am still trying to figure out more ways to use it beyond the basics so I can get even more out of the shortcuts I have set up.

I use TextExpander mostly for student-facing emails and meeting notes that I end up writing multiple times a day. Having those repetitive messages and note templates expand instantly has saved me a lot of time and made it much easier to keep up with everything. I have not had any issues either, though I would be interested in seeing more features over time.
