# How are you using implicit modelling in Leapfrog Geo for mapping data visualization?

Implicit modelling in Leapfrog Geo has been really helpful for building geological models from mapping data and improving visualization, especially when working with small-budget mining clients. It also feels easy to model from clean data, and the data validation makes it quick to visually check what’s coming in from field work. One challenge is that the structural.data feature doesn’t feel very understandable to use, and it would help to update structural measurements over time. How are others handling structural.data and trends, and do you have a workflow for keeping structural measurements current?

I’ve found the interface makes it really easy to visualize models, especially when I’m trying to make sense of a large dataset. The tools have also been useful for narrowing down targets for new drill holes. My main hurdle was access since the license cost isn’t very student friendly, so it took me a while after graduating to get hands-on time with it.
